Time baby 3 months of age, early in the afternoon I give milk formula, the afternoon-evening I give breast milk. Initially, my baby still will, but get at the age of 5-6 months, baby I already don't want to suckle directly. Only wants to milk formula.
Sometimes hours 01: 00 night baby I want to breastfeed. I used to try to give my baby BREAST MILK, but instead wants to cry and infant formula. In fact I am sad, why baby I don't want anymore with my BREAST MILK. I still want my baby to drink BREAST MILK from me, but now I have no water coming out BREAST MILK much just a little, maybe just a few drops. How to keep my baby solution could still be BREAST MILK to breastfeed again? or indeed could not for me giving breast milk. Whether this also affected my work? Please help and solutions ... Thank you

ANSWER:
Dear Mother, Yuka
Granting formula, let alone use dot, can reduce the production of BREAST MILK because breast is not stimulated according the needs of infants, and dot can cause nipple confusion (baby suckle at the breast inevitably)
If you want to return directly from the breast feeding (relaktasi), the first to do is to prepare mentally. It is not easy, but by no means impossible to do. Then, the baby must be separated from the use of the dot, as well as expand skin contact with baby.
For more details, I recommend met with lactation counselor. For in Jakarta could hub 021-72787243/72790165 business hours weekdays, konseling@aimi-asi.org.
